Michael Donovan is currently a fifth year Architectural Engineering student at The Pennsylvania State University. Michael will graduate in May of 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus in Construction Management and a minor in Residential Construction. 

This past summer Michael had the privilege of working for a general contracting firm in the Washington D.C. area James G. Davis Construction. This experience gave him knowledge about the industry as well as gave him first hand experience with various project management tasks such as submittals, RFIs, various logs, drafting subcontracts, working with various computer softwares, and updating drawing sets. In summer's prior Michael worked as a laborer for a masonry contractor. This experience taught him hard work and the basics of various construction techniques. 

Michael also had the pleasure of studying abroad in China, which helped open his mind to many new possibilities. Outside of academics, Michael has been part of many organizations across campus such as THON, Student Society of Architectural Engineers, National Association of Home Builder's, and Students of Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence. In his free time Michael enjoys various outdoor activities such as basketball, golf, snowboarding, and wakeboarding.
